With the soft spring breeze, the long-awaited spring has come and gone. Perhaps we have unconsciously developed a unique Japanese sense of beauty by enjoying the changing of the seasons. Aoki Ayumi captures the beauty of each season from fragments of our memories and collages them in her own unique style. Mariko Kubo expresses a new and light world of lacquer by using plants and other motifs with traditional lacquer techniques. And “sakura” by asanochiaki, a “paper florist” who draws pictures on paper, cuts them out with scissors, and makes them bloom forever will be exhibited.
